White storks (Ciconia ciconia) are usually birds that enjoy low vegetation areas or places with shallow water to feed, building the nest isolated or in colonies in trees or human constructions.

This could be a paragraph from any book on this species.
In Portugal, we are lucky to have a unique place where these birds break some principles and rules of some "literature", nesting on the coast, on rocky cliffs subject to inclement weather with strong winds and waves.
All this surroundings are covered in a magic and mysticism that I try to portray and transmit in this work.

In this gallery I try to show some of the beauty of these birds and the landscape of this region of the country and the very peculiar connection between them.
